So I drove up to headquarters today and got my trapping license and my Level 1 WCO license.

Total cost was 51.00

A WCO license allows a trapper to trap nuisance fur bearers outside of the trapping season

WCO is free here. Have to take a written exam at a Wildlife and parks office. Get approval from a game warden to take the test. Keep good records. Resident fur harvester is 28 bucks.

Mo. trapping license $10 and no WCO permits needed.

$30 for a furbearer license few critters are protected here skunk, badger, fox, coyotes, possums, coons and jackrabbits are not protected in some areas beaver, rats and mink are open at all times. No permits needed for nuisance animals just call a CO and get the OK it saves them from having to deal with the issues.

Not a bunny hugging outlook when it comes to problems just take care of it yourself. LOL

30 bucks for an 01 licence and half that for an 02.
You need to buy the provincial trapping membership to do Nuisance work in most cases they require 5 million liability insurance which comes with the membership which is 22 bucks.

In NY trapping and hunting $10 per year. O yeah that’s age 70 and above. lol. Best deal my son made while in college in bot a lifetime license. Now lives in Ct. and license is good lifetime in NY. I would strongly encourage young people to buy lifetime license if available.

Resident fur harvest permit is about $18 then you also have to buy a habitat stamp for $25.

Here in KS at 65 you can buy a hunting fishing lifetime combo for 28 bucks. No break in price for furharvesting no matter your age. At 75 dont need a license to hunt or fish. I dont think it matters where you live.

Open area licence $10. $15 for RTL.

$45 here…expires March 31 every year. No season on coyotes, coons, possums, and beaver.

KY is $20 for a trapping license and expires 2/28

"Old Timers" furbearers license in Ohio, is $8.00. It is renewable each year on March 1. You of course have to have a Hunting license to accompany that.

In Pa, $22 for adult fur takers. Needed to hunt fox, coon and bobcat, in addition to trapping. Otter, bobcat and fisher permits are $6.97 each, can take one of each.

I just got my senior lifetime combo license this year. Hunting ( small game, buck tag, fall turkey tag, spring turkey tag ) and includes lifetime fur takers license. Also includes muzzle loader and archery permits. Cost was a little over $100.

In Pa, you don’t need a hunting license to buy a fur takers license. If you don’t hunt, or only hunt fur bearers, skip the hunting license.

How do you trap beaver in cages?

State license is 46 bucks here.

Its about 23 dollars in Alabama. Was 8.90 for years. 1 year afew years back. They made = Hogs a furbearer. So about a dz or so guys had to buy the 22 dollar trapping license. Gee That hurt after buying a 7800 dollar hog trap. One year corn illegal and bad CWD !!! Next year. O. You can buy a feed corn licsence !! Baiting permit. Alabama. 1 of the crookedness states around with wildlife. Glad im trapping in West Texas now
