....that's not really racism....for the most part. It's basically similar a woman wanting a female gynecologist.some people are just more comfortable having someone of the same race be their whatever for multiple reasons . Honestly from a hat I've seen is it boils down to alot of people just arnt comfortable with someone from a different race when it comes to close matters like that. Dating and relationships being a main one . I see people say all the time that they don't want to date anyone who's not like them i.e black white Asian whatever, and no one really bats an eye...for the most part ..I find it pretty weird honestly but egh not really racism... At least in a super negative sense. And their are certain things that happen in each community that kinda makes people want to have certain people in their lives be of the same race or at least the same back ground. Barbers being a prime example of I'm out of town and need a cut 9/10 times I'm going to try and find a black barber . Simply because our hair is different and requiem different stuff then what most white barbers have/ know how to do. Being in an interracial relationship theirs a lot of time I have to get one of my white freinds to help with something going on with my gf and she has to do the same with me due to cultural differences . Personally theirs stuff I'm just plain more comfortable doing and talking to about with one race vs another
Then on the flip side you have folks like how my grandma used to be . Gave the the option bewen a black or white person to work on her whatever regardless of qualifications she'd pick a white person for reasons if prefer not to say here.

A few years ago, a local casino had a sign on their doors that said, Help Wanted, Native Americans Preferred. Since that time, they have taken the Native Americans Preferred down. According to someone who has worked there for quite a while, they couldn't find enough natives who were interested in working.

How would a sign like that be perceived by the media, if a business advertised Help Wanted, Caucasians Preferred?
