Met him at NTA in Ohio. Talked with him at length. Bought a bottle of his liquid beaver lure. Every squirt of that stuff caught a beaver. Wish I had another bottle of it.

He was a very good trapper.

I know I’m reviving an old one here but he deserves it. Ed was one of a kind. The outdoors world lost a genuine soul when he left.

As far as him smiling…there was a picture or two but those pictures will never be seen.

I miss Ed every day. Only a few people on this forum have ever elevated themselves to "good friend status" with me. Ed was one of them.
