Canada is probably letting some of the trees burn to clear land to settle all the Asian, Middle Eastern and African immigrants on.

Doesn’t make sense. Life, property & protection of areas with high environmental value in that order. To fight fires burning in the middle of nowhere? Forest fires happen, nothing new.

Yes we do. Lots of the fires are in remote areas which are extremely hard to fight. Big bucks in firefighting. The one that was local to me didn't get any attention until it was well underway. The day it started a helicopter was bucketing water on it then they packed up and went home. It started in bc and alberta started building a fire break along the border 3 days later. We got our fire break done and was sending in a crew across the border but the more or less got kicked out.

I don't imagine things will get any better in the near future. There's alot of fuel in the bush that either a fire has to clean up or has to be logged. One of those dammed if you do or darned if you don't situations.

It seems like it would be worthwhile and in our National interest to send the US National Guard or the Army Corp. of Engineers to help fight the fires in Canada. The government wastes money on a lot of things with less of a return to US citizens.

You be better off protecting your southern border.
Firefighters from Canada fight fires in the USA and USA firefighters help fight fires in Canada all the time.

I'm not sure what the answer is. Our govt seems to figure if we tax the people more climate won't change. Many of the areas burning are very isolated and not much access except by air. The oil and gas industry has alot of technology and resources that could be used to fight some of these fires. For example these frack pumps. I figure if the had a 75' pipe with a disperser on the end those frack pumps could make it rain. They put out alot of psi and volume that would throw up a wall of water.

Same in Alaska. We dont fight fires where there is nobody living. Its a natural process of forest regeneration. We probably have 150 fires burning here at any given time in the summer too and not many of them will have cabins to protect or villages. So burn baby burn.

The problem with the current Canadian fires is that they are adversely effecting the health of millions of Americans and lots of Canadians. I live in Ohio and we keep getting stay inside advisories and no outside physical exertion advisories.

Over 70 million Americans are currently supposed to limit their lives, because of Canada's failure to prevent the spread of massive forest fires.

Canada can't even pay their NATO tab. What makes you think they can afford to fix their mess?

It wasn’t long ago the you were told the same thing because of the spread of something else. Maybe it was one of the dang Chinese balloons dropping fire crackers….lol
If you gov tells you to stay in, better stay in. At least Bocos got the air cleaning device for free. I bet you that things laced with surveillance equipment!

It either burns now or burns later. What would you prefer because it will burn one day.
