Bought 6 of these. Just got em today. MB750s fit in them great. So do CDRs. But NoBS don't fit. Can make it work...just have to position trap a bit crooked in the support. Bridger 5s fit OK, but not great....too loose. Got to
tinker with them more.

I welded on a single link of chain so I can hook a stop-loss cable to em.

Will be trying them out in a few days. I like the concept. Was gonna custom build some beaver foothold supports, but have never got around to it.

Hard to beat the trays, but sometimes I need to go lighter...less to carry.

I bought one and used it on one job. It accounted for a pair of beaver. I used in on a soft bottomed, steep beaver dam. Worked great. The stop loss is necessary. I staked away from the stand with very little slack in my trap chain. I think they will also be handy on steep banks with matted roots and very little soil, though I have not tried that yet.

I like them, you have 2 different places to hold the trap for 2 different bank situations.

Using a vice and some serviceable, but old 220 stands, I made some decent enough foothold supports, not welding, just bending in the right amounts. Not sure how the cost of these stands compare against 220 stands, but just some food for thought. I can send you pics if you want.

Put a trap on one of these stands this morning..in front of an artificial mound with lure.

I turned the stand so trap can only slide out towards dam...so beaver can't incidentally kick trap out of stand towards deeper water. Time will tell if this positioning is OK. Using 750s, so no concern about dog position.

The long legs stabilized the trap very good. The mud at the dam was deep and soft enough that the stand went in all the way up to the frame and seated the rig pretty good.

The stop loss is attached to top end of drowning rod. The stand will remain there after trap pulls out. I can see the legs getting bent up some after a catch is made and the beaver lunges, trap pulls free of stand and starts down the drowner.

I have used them with good results. Like anything else they have there place . I used them same as you so they cant kick trap off stand and wired stand to drowing rod so I wouldnt forget about them , like I never did that before.TS 85 will also work with them although Im mainly aMB 750 guy.

I'll try and snap a few this evening after work. The 220 stands you can bend in or out however you like. Mine fit both #5 longs and my no bs beav extremes.

Just an old 220 stand that i bent in the right places to make it accommodate a foothold. Just set the trap and the rod fits between the frame and the levers. Just wire it off to my drowning rod and its been good so far. If it gets bent up, just bend it back at home.

Ive got some for the vertical bank situations as well. Instead of the rod at the top being bent at 90s, just leave em straight and it works the same way
