I've got some stock Sleepy Creek #3 DLS. What modifications would improve them for coyotes?

Thanks

I just got some too. Are yours offset? If not I might think about laminating them. Mine are offset so I think all I’m going to do is put stainless steel rod dogs on and longer chain so I can easily pick them up and set them on my knee.

Mine have just regular jaws.

I just ad a few links of chain to the end swivel, set pan tension, and make sure pan sits level. Good to go

Yeah depending how much tinkering you like to do you could laminate them and add all that stuff but there a pretty good trap right out of the box. Could always run them for a season to make sure you like them and then change anything you see fit. I forgot to mention that I’m adding knockout box cover to make big pans but that’s all I’m doing before I test them out this season.
