Not that one, but I do have a XD 45 full size 5" and a XDS 45. Both are excellent. The full size has feed everything I've ever put in it, factory or reloads any bullet shape. The XDS was a bit picky about bullet shape. Meaning it didn't like a certain hollow point, but after that no problems. If you get a Springfield XD whatever model, I bet you will be pleased.

Call around you can probably find a range that will let you rent one for an hour or so.

not that one , I have shot the XDS the single stack in that size in 45 and it was very manageable and not to hard to conceal.

if it fits your hand and feels good , it is an XD trigger they are all basically the same parts in different size frames with some variation in barrel and slide length.

it would be great to rent and try first if you can

buy a box of target ammo and a box of SD ammo and shoot them both up

pick something for SD ammo that is well respected like gold dots , HST or XTP that you can also find available on the shelf regular
