Been experiencing some numbness in my left arm all the way to my hand. Like it goes to sleep. I’m thinking pinched nerve but don’t remember doing anything to get out of whack.

Or

Just another symptom of getting old?

Sounds like your ulnar nerve or it could be your c5,6 in your neck I had both done 14 years ago.

Wrong side

A heart attack can show up as indigestion issues also

I had pinched nerve in neck a couple years ago.
Very painful for about 6 weeks, ate a lot of tylenol.
Pain went away but now have a tingling in two outside fingers in left hand.

Also had pinched nerve in hip, that felt like fire and electricity off and on going down left leg.
That went away in about 3 days.

The first time I had it physical therapy couldn’t get it worked out I ended up at the pain clinic getting point injections it took four different times with about three injections a time before it finally got better, the last two times PT has been able to correct the problem, I’ve got bone spurs around the nerve roots, with disc degeneration, vertebrae compression, and arthritis trying to forge the vertebrae together.

"In men, the left arm pain will move from the shoulder down the left arm or up to the chin. If the pain comes on suddenly and is unusually severe, or is accompanied by pressure or squeezing in the chest, seek emergency treatment immediately."

C4 or C5 is my guess. Rotator cuff problems can cause our neck muscle to do work they were not intended to do, with consequences.

My first of four rotator repair surgeries began with neck symptoms rather than shoulder or arm problems. Doctor disagreed with my diagnosis of a neck problem and immediately ordered an MRI that conformed shoulder damage.

Left arm problems are a sign of heart attack issues and should not be taken likely.

Im having same type probs only with pain like a hot hanger inside my arm from elbow to where hand bends at wrist. Happens out of the blue. No neck issue. Been in p-t for 6 weeks and she told me she doesnt know. Inflammation in tendon. Pushing Dr for. Mri but they want a specialist first. What a pain. Ive had limited success with pt on hips , knees, etc. Like u Dale, i wondered if it was just getting old. I can handle the pain. Its annoyingnto have limited use

That's what I did and I don't recommend it to anyone. Once I was shown scans of my arterial blockages it scared me.

The good news it that getting a couple stents put it is fast and relatively painless. It takes quite a few spotted up cats to pay for it all tho.

I had that for a year. Arthritis in 5&6.
Fused the 2 and scraped some out. Woke up after 45 minute surgery pain free.

I would do it again tomorrow if needed.
