Well this place helped me with my last mushroom id, so I will try this again. I was out today loading up on chanterelles and lobster mushrooms and came across something I have never noticed before.
Any idea what these two are? Baby amanita?

Baby Amanitas for sure. Most likely one of your American varieties of the Fly Agaric, Amanita muscaria var. guessowii smile

The whitish-yellow stuff is the universal veil which all Amanitas have. Depending on how fragile the veil is, it either breaks down into powder-like coating, flecks, bigger ragged patches, or just stays as a lobed sac at the base of the stem, like in the Death Cap all the various grisette species.
