How do you deal with people who have moods that swing quicker than a barometer? People like that fatigue the daylights out of me.

Had a GF that could change moods like she had a remote control in the hands of a 12 yr old. Didn't last long.

Same here.

If thats not possible, screw with their moods as much as i can. This usually results in them avoiding me.

Well, here’s a different take, maybe find out why the mood swings.
Do they have a newborn that’s keeping them up all night some nights?
Do they have an aging parent or child that’s sick that’s causing it?
Do they have things at work that they just can’t wrap their heads around?
Heck there are endless possibilities, won’t know until you do.

I was taught leave home life home and work life at work. Some people just have never learned that lesson or can’t for some reason.

Put your trapper hat on and read the signs. Make it interesting, like walking around a theme park.

If you don't have a duty to or relationship with ties with the people with mood swings, just avoid them.

I find your comment the most refreshing. I could never separate the two very easily. My work was my calling and I didn't have a well-structured home life following the military.

It's possible and makes me wonder. I can handle someone who is consistently a jerk or someone who is consistently pleasant. I struggle trying to deal with someone else's emotional roller-coaster.

This one is a coworker who happens to be female.

It’s the two-faced biz-natch that I have a hard time dealing with…I can’t even think that way if I force myself to try.

Personally I would just ask Savell. He seems to have a solution for most any situation..

My wife was on a chemo cocktail for 23 treatments. It gave her severe short term memory loss and frequent mood swings. Some things you just have to deal with. In many cases the person is blameless and not necessarily nuts. If they are nuts it's best to avoid them if possible.
