Do they have an aging parent or child that’s sick that’s causing it? Do they have things at work that they just can’t wrap their heads around? Heck there are endless possibilities, won’t know until you do. I was taught leave home life home and work life at work. Some people just have never learned that lesson or can’t for some reason.

My work was my calling and I didn't have a well-structured home life following the military. To a person ignorant of nature, his country stroll is a walk through a gallery filled with wonderful works of art with their faces turned to the wall

Some things you just have to deal with. In many cases the person is blameless and not necessarily nuts.
