My wife and I had supper with my older son,,his wife and thier three kids last night to see them before they went to Main for a little vacation.They want to get some good pictures while there,,so during supper,,my son asked my 5 year old granddaughter what should we have if we see a big Moose up there.She says,,a gun! Hahaa,,and she is the girliest girl you ever want to see.When they go hiking,,she has muck boots and her "hiking dress" on.

Kids say the coolest things

every one in the restaurant within ear shot cracked up.We all hunt up here.

Sure won`t have too much explaining to do whenever she is out with you on a hunt. She may be spotting critters before you do!

A would say a future hunter for sure.

We have no grandchildren yet, but whenever we do, I sure hope some of them will have a connection with nature and be able to leave the electronics behind.

Twice.I have two sons that I instilled the outdoors into.And both of them are doing the same with all their kids.One grandson wants to be a hunter/forager and live off the land.He's 8 years old.He has an eye for spotting Puffball mushrooms.His favorite out of them is "Puffball Parmesan".
