He should step aside and let someone else take the leadership of the senate, go home, get some rest and focus on being a placeholder so that the slim majority democrat led senate doesn't destroy this nation before the next election.

I think repealing the 17th Amendment would have a greater impact than term limits. I think it would eliminate a bunch of brain dead voters who vote for candidates like they're voting for high school class president. The thing that spooks me about term limits is we would always have a bunch of lame duck radicals not worried about re-election. If they were in the majority real damage would be done.
