You can take her to the auction but have the vet preg check her when you get there. Unless you are a brucellosis free state, there will always be a vet there on sale day. Knowing then, if she is bred or open you can choose to take her back home to calve out, or sell her as a bred cow. Selling a nice looking cow guaranteed to be bred and with a likely calving date brings way more money than weighing one up. Bryce and left lane gave you some good answers. It’s hard to beat. She looks like she’s six weeks off to me. Have her tested and you’ll see.

Scott at the sale, the vet who works it usually works for a discount fee in agreement with the management there. You don't have to pay his office fee or a serv call so it might be alot more economical than you think.
A lot of those ol boys check so many that they become super accurate predicting a future date for calving
