I've been working too much in a nearby town full of liberal California trail mixers , trannys , fruitcakes , karens , trustafarians , freaks , Biden lovers , and people who have unhealthy relationships with animals walking behind them picking up and bagging the crap to take home for later ( a true doggie bag ) .......bad traffic full of Subarus with " be nice " bumper stickers

I’m looking forward to it! Whitetail archery season starts the end of August here.

I'm keeping an eye on one buck here at the house,he's out with a couple of other bucks,he's the biggest come Sept he might go 130".If I'm given the chance I might try to kill him,I haven't shot a buck with archery for 10 years or so,quite a few doe's.So yes I'm looking forward to archery season,good luck to you,hope you can arrow a nice bull.

August first my river opens

I've been bow hunting roe bucks for a couple weeks. Haven't been out much but the rut just got going.

I made decoy this year and it works on does but I haven't called in a buck yet.

Absolutely the best time to be in the woods.all stands are hung and ready for the magic to happen.

Only weapon I use to hunt so looking forward to it. I should say looking forward to the experience, harvesting big game is just the bonus, for me it is being part of nature in the fall.

Depends on what species you're after 4 days til bear opens 4 weeks til deer

Doubt I’ll get to do much early season hunting, but hope to be able to around mid to late October competing with the rifle hunters. We done have one to lose sleep over yet, but a couple that should be in the 140’s. I’ve got a few older bucks I really want to take. They may not score much but from the pics you could use their antlers as weapons, lol.

I will be in a tree on Sept 30 but don't get real interested in hunting until it cools off a little.

Deer opens mid Sept but I seldom go till mid Oct.

Archery seasion. Who wants to wait on that. Squirl come in her Aug 15th and the boys are ready. Been talking about going out squirrel scouting. youth deer weekend comes in the weekend before bow seasion here. They will likely shoot a few then it's bow hunting or x bow if I don't think their groups are tight enough.

Heck yes I'm ready and I'm not going to be pulling the trigger.

Well maybe I might shoot a deer if I get that 308 m1 ordered and it shows up in time.

Used to live to bow hunt. You can have it !!! First year that bow season came in second weekend in September I was fortunate to kill a big eight pointer. Shot him 20 minutes before dark. He ran 15 yards and fell in feild. Easy tracking. BUT it was 84 degrees !!!Back then you had to drive to a check station. checked it in drove back to my Dads barn and processed it. Was about 2 am when it was done. I had to be at work at 5 am. Not to mention the SMELL! I have gutted/ skinned almost every game animal in Ky. That was the one and only time I ever felt Nauseated.

Velvet bucks are ugly. Ticks are demon seed. Mosquitoes are miniature vampires. We only get 1 buck tag so I just like the temps to be cold. It eliminates every one of the things I have mentioned

October 1st here. I can't wait for some fresh venison. Fresh venison and fresh walleye, that's my kind of surf and turf
