One of the Tman members here just seemed to drop off the face of the earth. I've been trying to locate Mike Traps2.

He commissioned me to do a nice art portrait of his trapping family members, I finished it, and it sits here until I hear from him , but I haven't been able to get in touch with him.

Up to two and a half weeks ago, he was great in communicating. He always has been. At times, almost immediately , after I send him a message.

I believe, like many folks, and especially running his own ADC business, he carried his phone with him all the time and knew the moment an email arrives, as he has with mine.

He was ecstatic at the proof I drew up . He answered all questions I had, often just minutes after I would send them. He has been great.

Before I send any job to a client, I always send them an image via email for them to see , and then I take them in to be mailed out. I did all that and haven't heard a thing.

The date he last logged into the forum here, is exactly the same time when I stopped hearing from him. His ADC page on Face Book is the same thing, too. He posted there around the same date, over two weeks ago.

I found his website and called the number from that, twice. Left a message for him both times.

His name is Mike DiSalvo , from Ames, IA. Nice person to work with.

I feel something has happened to him.

Would there be someone who lives close enough , who wouldn't mind trying to find him ? Just to see if he is alright. I don't think he is. I do wonder if something happened to him. He just stopped posting on every media site at around the same date.

Met him at an NTA years ago, and have his DVDs on trapping coyotes. Very good videos. This is not just about his art that is waiting for him to give a final approval.

His last post on Facebook is around that time, you might try tracking him down there if you're on Facebook

Sniper, I did find that last post there. The info he gives there , phone, etc., is the same that I found from his online website. All the same, so yes, I followed the same path from there too.

did you check iowa trappers talk ran by adc might be on there or at least inquire on there hope everything is ok.

Houndone, good thought. I'm hoping ADC sees this topic, and maybe can help out, if possible. That's a great thought. I didn't think of the local trapping online sites.

160, thanks. I do too. It isn't like him at all to just stop responding . He has wanted a portrait like this, of his Dad, brother, and grandfather for a long time. He was having such fun seeing this job come together for him and his family.

on the other forum guy said he talked to him and the phone number that adc gave is the correct one to get ahold of him hope this helps.

Thanks houndone , that is the number I have had from the beginning. Left two messages there already, called again just now, no one answered. Just the message center again.
