I do too, Randall. I have thought of contacting the sheriff's precinct in that town , if they have any reports , or doing a welfare check. I don't want to go that route at this point. I thought with other trappers knowing him who could help, would be my first step.

Even if on a vacation, no one goes this long without a phone or some way of communicating, in case of emergency, at very least. He would have told me if he was expecting to be off grid for an extended time . He was completely stoked about this job and knew I would be done soon .

It doesn't seem like his message center is full , when I called earlier, the recording picked up as usual .

I dont mean to be a doubter but could he be skipping out on you?

I saw that in his profile too, a little while ago. I don't know if it was him or someone else having access to his account.

I have , from the beginning, made a point of being reasonable, with everyone. He never indicated any concern or problem with our agreement. He has always been very good to work with. I did inform him that if there is a problem, just tell me, I am easy to work with. I totally understand unforeseen problems arising , and told him to just tell me and all would be good .

I don't think it is that, because he hasn't had any activity that I saw on any of the media platforms he posts from. The whole time. I'm not a follower of his FB account, I didn't know he was on there until I looked with a purpose. It was all the same , inactive from the same date .

He is OK. He just sent me a PM on here 2 hours ago.

I don't know why he hasn't called you back but I alerted him to this post just a few minutes ago.

Update...I just heard from Mike a few minutes ago. by email. The same one we've been using.

He is ok, been down south working.

I guess he didn't access his communications by phone or computer . I'm just glad he is ok.

Apologies for putting anyone into concern...after almost three weeks I figured it was time to start broadening out my search.

This happened to me years ago, too. Partially.

I was in another area for a couple weeks. I DID have my ipad and was online, but the signal was weak . The server where I was at, was poor quality. It took forever to load when I would try my FB business account. So I didn't go there for some days. I did access here , on Tman. This forum loaded much easier for me. Others didn't know that on FB, and unbeknownst to me, I had a whole group of trappers looking for me. One of them came here , made a thread calling for me...I had no idea I was even missed.

I didn't tell anyone I was out of town, because I didn't think they'd notice. Matt Jones was the first one who did, and he stirred them all up, lol .

They were fine once I appeared , unscathed and safe.

Now Ive been at both ends of a search ....all good now.

Glad ur ok Mike. Always hate it when one of the family is MIA.

Still don't like it we haven't heard anything on Cedar Hacker...
