varmintshooter OP trapper V Joined: Apr 2008 NE North Carolina	Summer pleasures beaver trapping. 4 in 20 ft. two around 18" and one around 30" . It had a 4 inch fish in it's mouth. Blew the dam and two more appeared around the 18 - 20 inch size. This one I actually measured 52" I have gotten 47, 48 inchers but I don't remember one over 50 inches. He would have hurt.

varmintshooter OP trapper V Joined: Apr 2008 NE North Carolina	They were all Cottonmouths. They are the only snakes I kill. Cottonmouths are very territorial and hang out on beaver dams and lodges, same places I am at.
