Took the youngest daughter to a parade in town today and told her there would be a candy tax, payable to me in tootsie rolls and smarties. She was not happy with the idea, of course. Better get used to it, I said!

Lol kind of reminded me of my mom. When I did chores she paid me in Monopoly money at the end of the month she charged me rent, water and food.. I can't remember what my monthly bill was, but I had to hand it over the amount and what ever I had left over I got in real money. So the more I work, the more I made, the more I had at the end of the month.
