Hey fellas. I'm heading down to Coutts Alberta in October for a antelope hunt and would like to take a tour into Montana. I carry a 135 gal slip tank of diesel in my truck. Will it be a problem crossing into the US with it?

Is there something a guy should make sure to check out down there? Was figuring checking out some of the sporting goods stores. Figure it'll be a day trip.

no they are only looking for coloured fuel, it's Canadian customs...they dont know what colored fuel is.
if you are more than 200 km from your business you have to have a reason to burn purple
so pick up one part in the USA, gets around the loop-hole
never peve a off a customs officer or you get red flagged for other trips crossing

Thank you. Rather then risk anything I'll leave my tank at home.
