Nice pics
I'll add some pics over the next couple of weeks- relocated my camera after the last straight-line windstorm. It opens on dogs this year and I know a lot of dog hunters like to use cookie dough for bait because the bears seem to bed closer to the bait station- fill-up and lay down. I'm going to hunt over trail mix but I plan to use cookie dough the week before- the inverse strategy of trying to keep the bear closer to my remote site.

Eagleye-

Just wanted to wish you an early "Good luck" and "Have a great hunt!". I have hunted over dogs and have hunted over bait. My wife, son, and I have taken...and eaten...some nice bears. My son killed a 419 lb. up near Barnes in 2002.

Great times and great food!

Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.

Moosie appreciate that!
419 is a nice bear- we enjoy having bear meat in the freezer. With the bear opener 3-days before whitetail archery season,,, I've already resolved myself to the fact that I'll be watching a nice buck cruise by sometime between Wednesday and Friday grin

Do you have hunters in both Zones?
What do you use the crucifix tree for- hang goodies on it or ?
