Mid-summer evening petrichor...
Full woodshed...
Lack of fleas on coyotes, foxes, or marten...
Lack of people on a drive or a hike...
Smell of burnt powder in just-shot shotshell...
Rod tip wiggling with fish bite...
Wife singing to herself in the garden...

Possibly little, but priceless.

That first burn of Spring seeing the dead brown grasses pass away, knowing the green up that will follow

Seeing the dance from a distance as you’re pulling up

The slight smell of skunk on a cool/damp fall morning screams fall to me.

Stepping out of a warm cabin in the bush on a clear cold bright moonlit Dec Night and hearing the Wolves howling across the river.

Smell of a camp fire, turkey gobbling, geese flying overhead in formation, whistling wings of ducks over head, drumming Ruffed grouse, dancing of Sharptail grouse, the smell of Lilacs blooming in June, smell of fresh cut grass, coyotes howling, watching a red fox den,pups playing sitting in a deer stand watching Gods creations and the last thing,the rattling of chain on a drag trap set for coyote or bobcat.

Smell of corn tasseling in early mornings in July

Smell of burnt powder from a shot shell made me smile. The grandson and I do that every time after shooting in the duck blind

Fox urine smell in the air at a trapper convention

Making out a beaver tail wider than my canoe paddle down in the murky water
