Rusty Johnson here asking for donations for a fellow Trapper and a huge contributor to the trapping industry. Steve has been unable to work for almost a year due to feeling unwell and going to numerous doctors trying to figure out what was wrong with him. For the past 27 years Steve has been battling cardiovascular disease due to agent orange exposure while serving in Vietnam. He recently was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of lung cancer and will undergo some harsh treatments, leaving him unable to earn an income. Those of you who don't know Steve should know that not only is he a Vietnam Vet, but he has also been a former President of the Georgia Trappers, Conservation Director of the NTA, NTA staff for public relations in Washington, D.C as well as the owner of Dunn Knives. Steve's beautiful custom knives have been generously donated to various groups and organizations, especially to the NTA/FBU/FTA. I'm asking for any help we can give this Man who has selflessly given so much to the trapping, hunting and fishing industries to help with his medical bills and everyday cost of living during this difficult time for him and his family.

I'm not sure that my donation went through. I do not want to join go fund me.
I have known Steve Green for many years. I don't know anyone with more passion for protecting the rights of trappers. I honor him for his service in Viet Nam and I feel terrible that he has these medical issues due to exposure to agent orange. Instead of sending billions of dollars to Ukraine I believe the the U.S. government should be taking care of our own, disabled vets like Steve, with good pensions, for life. I pray for Steve's recovery.
