Sure, got some #9s but the MB 750s fall into that 7”ish size. But I like the idea taller jaws on the #9s in the snow. I’ll buy a 5 Bridger just to try though.
Wind Blew, crap flew, out came the line crew

I use #5 Bridger coils for Beaver and love them. My favorite is B&L #44 LS but they are hard to find and expensive.
I have nothing clever to put here.

I have a dozen Blake & Lamb #44 long springs that I use with deadly effect on beaver.
They have inside Laminations to down-size the inside spread to 7 1/4" inches so that they are New York State Legal.
They are also base plated, center swiveled & have been up-graded to #3 twist loop chain with three crunch proof swivels.
They are beaver catching machines.

The reason I asked is I have used #4's of beaver and really haven't had any issues but haven't used them for beaver for years now. I use 330's strictly now but have a chance to purchase a few used #5's.
Do you see any real big difference from the #4 to #5's on beaver that would make it a game changer to go with 5's instead of 4's?

Do you see any real big difference from the #4 to #5's on beaver that would make it a game changer to go with 5's instead of 4's? The wider jaw spread and higher jaws on #44 B & L's make for a higher up catch, and greater catch percentage than the smaller # 4's. IMO w
