$400 for a cooler so $400 for a pan might sound reasonable to some not me.

I have the Yeti 125 quart cooler. It's definitely the best cooler I have ever had or used. I can leave it in the bed of my truck, in full sunlight, for at least 6 days, without appreciable thawing of the contents. I bought it at auction for $85.00, in like new condition. It was money well spent.

Filled up, you need good help to carry it.

I have a 12 inch stargazer which I love and is my main pan, I though long and hard before spending the 145 then got it on sale too.

Some old wagner and griswold too which I will never part with

Yeti's 350 quart coolers are $1500.00. Their 250 quarts are $1000.00. Their 125 quarts are $600.00. They all used to be more.

Nessmuck, you should look at some of the small online auctions. They sell literal tons of old cast iron, including Griswold and Wagner Ware, at very cheap prices. Many of the small auctions will ship for a fee.

A really sweet griswold #10 that gets a lot of use and was gifted to me

A early #8 Wagner that I paid $10 for that gets a lot of use

www.shopgoodwill.com has become pricier than it was a few years ago. It sell a large amount of cast iron, including rare stuff.

I bought my Yeti cooler at it. It was pickup only, which usually means things will sell very cheaply.

Occasionally Goodwill will sell assorted cast iron by the ringed pallet, as pickup only. Once, the pallet load being sold was over 400 pounds.

Yeti stopped giving NRA discounts on their coolers and people got mad about it. Yeti trays to stay out of politics.

I greatly prefer having a smaller number of very high end items, that work fantastically, than having loads of cheap junk. For me that goes for guns, knives, kitchenware, tools, animals and to some extent to vehicles, though I admit I have some rust bucket, Ford trucks.

I'm looking into getting another Jaguar.

If YETI’s cast iron is anything like their coolers it will be worth the money. Also, they are not anti 2A. A bunch of idiots took a couple of things they did out if context and ran with it.

Best cast iron I’ve used to date is made by Fields. It makes all others look like scrap iron in the performance department. If Yeti can out perform Fields it will be more than worth their asking price.
