Because you know you have to protect yourselves there are just too many who are willing to miss use government to punish good people for helping , the cop wouldn't be expected to answer questions beyond what you just said until his union rep is present.
did you notice where the gun came from , pocket holster and it didn't come off on the draw. he pulled it off and held it with the 6 pack in his left hand.

pocket pistols are really easy to carry , harder to shoot well , and not something we practice maybe as much as we should.
as even if you are a regular pistol shooter few events are based on compact or micro compact pistols.
that would make a great stage
with your pocket gun holstered Heels on marks holding a 6 pack of bottles. (use plastic or aluminum for stage prop)
on the buzzer draw and fire on target A with 2 rounds freestyle , target B & C one hand only the last 2 rounds must be fired non dominant hand only
