The fruit looks like black currants the leaf I'm not so sure of. Does the bush come out of the ground in multiple woody stems ,with little or no branching ?
If so I'd say black currants. I just picked about 15 lbs.of them for my wife to make a batch of wine, they looked just like yours, also they are tart tasting.

Black chokeberry, got one in one of my back yard plantings. Makes pretty good jam/jelly, but it takes a lot of sugar. The local starlings like the berries and then make purple strafing runs on my yellow vinyl siding. Can't sit on the back deck and deal out punishment with the 410 as I live in the village.

Aronia melanocarpa - Black chokeberry. One of the new super fruits marketed for it's high antioxidant levels. Very bitter without some sweetener added. Makes good jelly, juice and syrup. Very hardy and NOT the same as invasive buckthorn which it resembles. Birds eat it regularly most after it has frozen. I have a lot of it planted for wildlife as it is often the least popular shrub at local nurseries and I get them on season clearance 75-90% off this time of year.

I've learned enough thru the years to now know that I don't know enough. KNOWLEDGE IS FREEDOM.
