Who ever thought that was a good idea.
About as smart as one-ply toilet paper.

We had carpet in half of our kitchen when I was growing up. I got a missing toothpick stuck in my foot one night. Completely submerged it, half of it broke off and formed a sis in the arch of my foot. Dang that was painful

Never had carpet in the kitchen but had it on the ceiling in the bathroom.

Carpet should only be in the Bedrooms. I love Hard wood Floors and TILE in the Kitchen and Bathrooms. Now is that so hard to remember???

God please keep they 19 fallen UBB miners out of trouble up there.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Mom and dad had carpet in every room except kitchen and half bathroom. They had carpet in the big bathroom and what they said was they didn’t like cold feet in the winter, they both grew up during the depression years.

I generally keep an old towel on the kitchen floor to wipe up spills with my foot.

Carpet is not good in front of an entry door or in front of the sink and stove.

Not a single carpet or rug at this house anymore....looks nice when new but collects all manner of sand, dirt, stains, mold and odors. You can vacuum everyday and have them cleaned but in the end you tear them out and can't believe the trapped gunk....I can't even imagine a carpet in a kitchen or bathroom..... cool

It had been remodeled in the 70's so what would you expect?
