People say they cant see the IR flash , but how many pics have you seen with them staring right at it. They see, sense , hear something.. Run cameras on coyotes regularly and you will learn. It can be the flash or it can be the click of the lens filter moving into place for the night pics. Just depends on the camera. I've got coyotes enough on my reveal using them for deer that I've actually been wanting to try them on coyotes over test sets. From what I've seen using them on deer there are no indications they spook coyotes.

This isn’t a No-Glow camera. When it takes a pic there is a red glow. I know I’ve talked with NV guys who say hogs can see the IR. Spartans don’t emit a glow, so they have no clue I guess. We’ve never run off a deer with one. I guess I could swap out one of mine for that thing and see what it does, I have several mature deer coming in. I’d just hate to blow mine out if that’s the case. By mature I mean 5.5 150”+ deer it’s running off. At least we think that was the culprit. Spartan much closer to the deer… ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2023/08/full-51940-187344-img_6326.jpeg) Reveal a little bit farther than the Spartan… ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2023/08/full-51940-187345-img_6325.jpeg)

I do not have the model the OP listed but have some experience with other Reveal models. They absolutely spook coyotes. I have videos of them turning tail and getting out of dodge. I had them higher up and angled down but it still spooked them.

It’s my understanding the X 2.0 is the only glow camera in the bunch. The others are No-Glow.
Guess it’s just me, no one commented on the flash brightness of the pictures. I swear that Reveal looks like you hit them with a Q-Beam, lol.

IMO, the Reveals do take great pictures, better than any other cameras I have run and I like many of the other features but they spook coyotes for sure.

I think that buck is shifting a bit. I'd agree. Tis that time of year. Things change.

I was thinking about purchasing two of these. I saw a combo at Walmart for 200. Anyways I couldn't find on the box or the website if they are no glow or not so I didn't pull the trigger. I wonder if anyone in here has a manual or proof that they are not no glow

The 2.0 Is "low glow" so there is a visible light. The Tactacam Pro has "no glow" with no visible light. Run all three, like all three but if I am putting a camera in tight say on a game trail junction, I like to hang the pros. The animals notice the glow from the others. If I'm at a salt lick or feeding station and have the room will hang the others higher looking down and no issues with the animals noticing. https://www.tactacam.com/shop/reveal-x-gen-2/Great cameras for the price point, in my opinion.

Well, swapped camera yesterday with a Spartan and ole boy came in and spent about 1.50hrs in the area. First time he stayed almost 35 minutes feeding. Then a pic here and there of him doing whatever he does for another hour. Looked towards the camera once. That is how he was before trying the Reveal. Luckily my DIL got the camera and solar charger for an $18 spot on a 10 or 12 spot giveaway. We may try it on pigs and see what happens.
