obaugh OP trapper O Joined: Feb 2012 Posts: 77 ohio	Talked to my Dad on the phone today about the articles written about the odds of fisher in Virginia. He lives in the foothills of the allegheny Mountains between east of Elkins WV and west of Staunton. George Washington national Forrest.

I trap them here in Tucker county 20 miles from Elkins. They have huge home ranges, so I’m sure they are in Virginia near the border of WV I trap specifically for them. Takes about a week. Limit is one here

I have seen fisher tracks in eastern Highland county, VA. With a name of Obaugh, I would guess the McDowell area.
