Price for everything is getting ludicrous.

With the cost charged by tannerys nowadays,It is not worth it for me sending weasels to them,or mink.small beaver, marten, rats, squirrells and fox for that matter.
I can tan what I need at home,at my leisure and do as good or better a job for a fraction of their cost and a turn around time of about two weeks from initial soak to finish.
It is still worth it to ship large beaver wolf bear and large lynx since the cost can still be covered when moving those tanned goods or articles made from them.

My goodness, that is a pile of weasels!

They get plentiful some years.
Small home range,so it dont take long for one to move in when you take out the resident during the peak cycles.

Thanks, stove was built in 1861, bought a piece of property with a run down camp, stove was inside. I restored it. Did anyone notice my bear traps in the picture ? Both blacksmith made.
