My trapping partner and I put a 48"x 16" mirror in the bush with a video trail cam watching it. Well wouldn't you know it a day later a black bear come by. Well he didn't know what to think when he saw himself. If you got nothing to do and want a good laugh you should give it a try.

I seen a video a while back of just that. Not sure if it’s yours or someone else did it too. But it was pretty funny.

Nope. Pretty sure it wasn't. Unfortunately we set the camera to only take 20 sec videos. It is kinda comical when he sees himself and jumps back. I showed my 4 year old grandson and spoke like the bear. He laughed and laughed.

I have often wondered if a slender low mirror would scare squirrels away from a deer corn pile.

Squirrels in my deer corn keep me awake at night.

Don't know about a mirror but a owl might.

I wouldn't sleep so close to the deer corn.

I put a 24 x 36 mirror out in my meadow to see how the tom turkey come to it(after watching many others spend hours in front of ground level reflective office windows) and after finding it smashed and thrown around I now have a suspect - big and black. Took long time to pick up all the shards, lol.

I've learned enough thru the years to now know that I don't know enough. KNOWLEDGE IS FREEDOM.

I wouldn't doubt Bobcat would be intrigued by a mirror

Around here if a roadrunner ever sees himself in the reflection of a patio door plan on an hour of entertainment. Sometimes they fight it and other times they try to court it.

I bet it would work on him especially after he's had a few Lone Stars

I saw a video of a griz and a mirror. It was pretty comical and the mirror didn't last long. I am not sure where it was taken but there is a Marten box in the background.

I have nothing clever to put here.
