I have a few bottles of that stuff not bad after some cinnamon sticks thrown in and left to sit for a year. But one shot and few beers later the next morning ain’t so good haha!

Had a Diet Coke with a venison meatloaf sandwich. About six this afternoon, the Canadian Club will come out, with ice and water.

Getting a few chores done, then going to the neighbors to eat a mess of crabs. And have a couple beers.

It’s only about a quarter mile walk, so I’ll come home for that!

Big Deal beer, made by Labatts. The story has it that Paul Bissonnette, a retired hockey player and member of the Spittin' Chiklets crew, teamed up with Labatts to make this golden ale. Such an arrangement is a "Big Deal" and some Kwik Trips have been offering it at $9.99 a 12-pack till Sept. 4. On top of that for the last week they have offered a deal of $0.40 off a gallon of gas (up to 30 gallons) for every 12 pack you buy. Needless to say, we have a stack of beer and will be filling up our motorhome with gas with a discount of $2.65 per gallon. A good way to head north on vacation! Surprisingly good beer!
