Mmm, I'd eat that.

That looks good.

We are having coturnix quail and brown rice.

I taught 3 Masters classes at Quailcon this weekend and brought home 3 gallon bags of freshly butchered, coturnix quail.

Some good looking meals. DaveP: good thing those crab shells are empty! Otherwise you might get sick eating the crab as they have been setting on the table for a while grin

Wow! A lot of us ate very well tonight.

That octopus looks very good. I love octopus and hardly ever get to eat it, because there's none available for sale close to us.

I’ve got a friend that has a fish market and he gets it for me. Picked up this box of snow crab from him yesterday for a really good price. I have to mix it up as we eat a lot of local shrimp, bleu crab, oysters, inshore fish, etc. When it’s alligator season we will keep a couple for the freezer, and when I’m running nets we get loaded down with catfish. I try to get something new occasionally like octopus or squid to break it up as it’s easy to get burned out. [Linked Image]

I suspect Louisiana is our best state for seafood. I wish I had decent help for the farm, so we could get away to the coast and come back with loaded coolers of the bounty of the sea.
