I'm no lure maker by any stretch of the imagination but I did think I might save some Weasel glands to mess with this year.
My first thought was to freeze them in a Zip-Lock, then at the end of the season seal them all in a vacuum bag to prevent freezer burn until I do something with them.
I'm positive that I'm not talking about large volume here, just tinkering level quantities.
I also wondered if I don't end up doing anything with them, how long will they last vac sealed and frozen? Because if this ends up not developing into anything I could keep them until I had enough to just trade for some lure or sell them.
Or am I better off putting them in glycerin or something like that, instead of freezing?
Thanks

My suggestion is go with your first plan of freezing them. I wouldn't put them glycerin. There's ways to fix their odor but probably won't get anyone to share the information. I'd be intrest in them if you decide to trade or sell them.

Thanks!

I'll plan on freezing them then.
I'll keep you in mind if I don't use 'em.
I get these big ideas that never go anywhere, so I may very well end up with a few to get rid of....LOL

Thank you!
I've been searching and reading the archives, but I missed both of those threads.
