Feel good story of the week. Coming soon. "I.R.S. agents raid kids lemonade stand".
swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo
You have to remember that 1 out of 3 Democratic Voters is just as dumb as the other two.

I went to a Popeye's Chicken and ordered some chicken and mashed potatoes. When I sat down there wasn't a spork in the box. There were no sporks, nor ketchup, nor straws, nor napkins at the normal island where you normally find such items. Poorly managed joint in my opinion. I went to the counter and there was a few people in line, so I sidled up to the counter beside those folks in line. The gal who had originally taken my order came right over to me and asked me what I needed. Recalling that while she was very good at her job, and was clearly not a lollygagger which is usually the case in fast food joints around here, she had that, "I don't really like this job" look on her face. She turned around and went straight over to where the sporks were behind her and also grabbed me a handful of napkins which I did not ask for. I tend to wipe my chicken grease on my pants to give my dog false hope later. She came back quick and handed me the spork and the napkins, never said a word, and went straight back to taking customer orders. I said thank you and went back to my table to eat. I couldn't help but think about the kindness, however small it may seem, of thinking about giving me some napkins. After I finished, I went back to the counter and sidled up to it once more. She came right over to me to see what I wanted. I asked her if they have a lost and found. She said no. I handed her a 5 dollar bill and told her that someone must have lost this. I then turned around to leave, and heard her say, "Thank you." I didn't turn around and just walked out the door. She did not make a big production about giving me napkins which I didn't ask for (but needed), so I wasn't going to make a big production out of giving her a 5 spot. I just hope that I made her day as much as she made mine.

Kindness is what we are lacking in this world. Need more people like you to make a difference and thanks for sharing your story of kindness.

Nicely done... I try and stop at every lemonade stand, like to encourage capitalism in the kids, and I always overpay.... , Don't see many anymore. Gotta have an expensive permit in most places anymore. Then you gotta have the FDA inspect and approve your business which in this case would be your house. I used to process deer for hunters for the hungry until Obama passed a couple laws that made me quit. Don't want the FDA doing surprise inspections on my house.

I'm not telling this because I want a pat on the back. I'm only telling it because of what transpired. Maybe it will give others some ideas.
Today I'm coming home from golfing around 1:30 on a seldom traveled county road. The temperature was close to 90 with very high humidity. As I rounded a slight curve in the road I see a little girl standing beside the road waving her arms. My immediate thought was something is wrong so I slowed down. As I was coming to a stop, I saw a table and some pitchers and plastic cups. I then knew she was trying to sell water or lemonade. I did that a few times when I was a kid. I was immediately impressed. Most kids would be indoors playing on their cell phone or computer in this weather. But there she was, maybe 10 to 12 years of age, out in this heat trying to make a couple dollars. I rolled to a stop and she asked if I would like to buy some water or lemonade. I asked how much and she said the water was a dollar and the lemonade was two dollars. I said give me a lemonade. She handed me a glass and I handed her a 20 dollar bill and told her to keep the change. Her eyes got real big and she said, "FOR REAL?" I said," Yes, for real." She said "REALLY?" I said, "Yup." Her eyes got even bigger and a big smile came across her face. She then asked my name and I told her and then I asked her name and she told me and then she said," It's nice to meet you." I told her it was nice to meet her. I told her to have a nice day and as I drove off she started running towards her house screaming at the top of her lungs, "MOM, MOM, LOOK WHAT I GOT. MOM LOOK WHAT I GOT."
The lemonade was weak and it was warm, but it is the best lemonade I have ever had and it was the best $20 dollars I have spent in a long time!! Man that is outstanding, I patronize young kids whenever I can you made her day and yours too and you deserve a pat on the back
