That makes no sense when the non union vehicles cost more.Good try though.

Any mechanic will laugh at ya if you try to compare a Ford to Honda or Toyota. Ford doesn't hold a candle to those.

That's your opinion.Mechanics around here drive 3/4 Ton Chevys and Fords with snow plows on them in the winter.I don't even think Toy-Ota makes a 3/4 ton.

Union or non Union,,they are all overpriced as far as Im concerned.

Unions suck. I worked more forced overtime in a union shop than any other and they always sent us flyers for democrats they wanted elected.

I own and have owned fords hondas and toyotas.
Honda was good until the timing belt needed changed(scheduled mtc)-cost an arm and a leg then it was good again for another 200,000k
Also rust issues.
Toyota-rav 4 in 2019=good dependable vehicle,some recall work,coverd or course.Gas milage good.Had to do undercoating and rustproofing because of the salt starting to rust the body.Expensive vehicle compared to union made comparable vehicles like the escape-but the wife wanted the rav 4 so thats what we got for her.

Ford trucks all the way-had all different makes on the RR except toyotas.Fords out worked and outlasted them all.RR wouldnt buy toyotas-too expensive and not built tough enough for RR work.
Several recent ford trucks I have owned-aluminum body-no rust issues like the older ones.Older fords like my 09 ranger were bad for rust,but I neglected it a bit.
Older fords I have had all had 300000 k on them with no parts replaced except u joints ball joints,battery etc which is mtc work on higher milage vehicles-no transmission issues on the fords unlike the dodge RR trucks with higher milage-a lot of tranny rebuilds on those.

Have had many Tacomas, seems like they hold their value better than other trucks.

I'm sure you would have loved the double shifts on a back breaking job. I kinda like having a life, however.
