as long as I am not carrying in furniture it's fine

my daughter moved to an old apartment building that has angled steps like that , and I am no fan when carrying something heavy turning a corner and going up at the same time with less step to find

lot less distance to fall on yours , her's are at the top of the flight of stairs step 12, 13, are angled 14 is the landing

Not as bad as it looks. I debated going with a standard step but thought this would suffice. I think it will.

Looks a little awkward, but nice.
I personally would go with a standard width tread even though it looks to be a slightly less than optimal riser.

I'd like this^^^better
Door swinging out and railing on the left hand side as your looking in

Yours looks great but I know I would end up tripping on a step like that

Would not a door swinging out and being low to the ground, be at a risk of getting held shut by snow in Maine and Western New York.

The entry looks nice, but the stairs do look like they could cause injuries and hassles.

Nice work Posco but it might be awkward with your walker in a few years. laugh

I think I would have cut back into the floor another ten inches to accommodate a full step

I like it. If it trips you up you’ll get used to it. We have a small jut out from the shower in the bathroom I caught my little toe on and dang neared broke it completely off. Bout 5 years ago and I still swing my foot way in when I head past that wall.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions. Some of you are savages...Ken. The entry will accommodate a full width step with up to a twelve inch tread. That's what I was initially looking to do. This really isn't as bad as it looks. It's a little over two feet wide and about twelve inches deep.
