Bc I would add know history,the constitution, and know how to think reason and question things for themselves without being indoctrinated. So better not send them to public school. Everytime the schools, cops, and fire department wants money they raise my taxes. We homeschool our kids and I spend thousands on cruculim and don't use the locals school resources. Yet I don't even get a tax credit. If I have a fire or need a cop the fd will be just in time to put out the hotspots in the burned our house and cops in time to pick up the bodies.

I guess it's a great thing for the people in town I pay for services they benefit from but they will be the first to complain my eggs, meat, produce, and honey cost to much.

Back to kids knowing how to read and do math. Pay with cash and watch the person try to figure out how to give you change. Seems to be working splendidly

Lots of schools have problems. Lots of people can't homeschool (and lots of people do a really bad job at it).

Fixing the schools and having an educated society that can compete and succeed should be the goal.

At first I thought maybe the kid had a learning disability, but this is not the case as I believe, I agree about her being hypocritical, I do believe that schools should be paid for by property tax only, thought of this comes from spending my income tax dollars to fund students all over the state and not locally it would show how much the people in the area believe in education.

Give a minor a cigarette in Maine and you're looking at a $500 fine, minimum. Give them a beer and you're looking at up to a year in jail. My wife is a retired Public School Teacher and Principal. She even will not let our kids and now our Grand kids into a Public School. Everyone is supposed to have a school choice or Homeschooled. This idiot wants to have that choice but take it away from the Parents. Typical Demonrat!!! Our kids and Grand kids go to a Christian school where our kids Graduated from and went on to a Private College. They took out Student loans and did not whine about that either. My wife and I paid our Student loans and so should everyone. Public Schools are nothing but an indoctrination center to twist the minds of kids. They want to WOKE them as well as play with the kinds of children into messed up kids who do not even know what sex they are. She was at an Inner city Public school and watched Minority Parents come in crying Discrimination and getting the Superintendent to change their grades. EVEN when some of these kids only showed up for class 3 times a quarter. These same kids got to graduate without Reading writing and Math skills!!! THAT is some of your Public schools. The teachers or Principals do not have control especially when the race card is played. Other teachers are just as bad with their new Ideas and WOKE BS!! The older teachers have all retired and given up. They are the ones that want alternative types of schooling. This Hypocrite obviously does!!!
