I am in the market for a beaver tail wallet. I dropped mine today and ran over it with a shredder. The last one I had was a gift from my six or seven years ago. Any help would be appreciated.

Gritguy I believe is who used to sell them. Wasach Wildlife products. I have one and just love it.

I have nothing clever to put here.

I'm thinking (if I remember right) that Gritguy might not be able to make any more wallets since the beaver tail tanner closed its doors.

Actually it's Randy Shuff. He tans his own tails so he's likely to be able to fulfill your wallet needs.

I have lots of tails, a few left that will do full covers on wallets, I can seam them with two smaller halves, generally don't like to do that as I don't prefer selling a seam wallet unless a person likes them.

I've yet to find a tannery that will do them to my standards to sell at a cost that can be used to sell them

When I run out of tails, my wallet making will be on Hiatus until finding another tannery.
I don't have the time to tan my own with building my calling units to, beside living in the wrong area to do so !

I use this forum as a main supply for tails every other year as well, always get great material from people here !!

That's a downer for us both !
