The 2023 Trappers College is underway. I will be posting daily updates over on the FTA Facebook & Instagram, but wanted to share a few pictures from this year so far. Registration for the 2024 class is officially open. It will be held September 8-14, 2024 in Wolcottville, IN. FTA Trapper's College is the only one of its kind in the world. The college provides six days of in the field, hands-on training with some of the best trappers in the world serving as instructors. The field experience is backed up with classroom instruction to provide the most extensive training for both beginners and experts. Class placement is based on your level of experience and needs.

This course is designed for ALL skill levels from brand new never touched a trap to seasoned veteran trappers, and for all ages across all species, type of trapping etc. You can learn more about the class and register over on the FTA website here: FTA Trappers College

We got about 10-11 ladies in attendance this year, plus myself.

I was there 10 years ago. Great time! Life changing event.
Thank you for sharing pictures it brings me right back to that place!

Met Odon Corr, George Stewart, Kieth Gregerson Pete Askin,Kermit Stearns Major Boddicker and others that changed the way I looked at trapping animals. I enjoyed trapping before, these people really put into focus another way to look at how animals react or behave. Glad I went!
