I saw a lady hit a deer one time and her car was hurt pretty bad. I stopped to make sure she was ok and she was, her car was not and the deer was not. I called the sheriffs dept to report the crash and then put a bullet in the deer to end the VERY loud howling it was doing. When the deputy came he asked if I had shot it and I told him I had. He told me that I can't do that and I told him that someone had to stop the caterwauling before the poor lady stepped out in front of a truck. Kind of hard to argue with that logic. That poor lady probably had nightmares for months after that.

NO WAY I'D EAT THAT THING!!!!! Too many diseases that he could have, and some are transmittable to humans. Put it down for sure, and leave it lay. Have you DNR do test's to see what it is.
