If kinda large, and mix of sweet and tart, could be jonagold. Golden Delicious tend to be sweet, no red blush.
Edited: Probably NOT golden delicious or jonagold. These apples are showing some russet, which the other two don't have.
So some type of golden russet?

Looks like an old-timey variety to me. The russetting is common on some of the old varieties.
My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

They look like the apples on my place except the tree looks different. They might be a Northern Spy. I can remember our trees being full grown over 60 years ago.

Would be helpful if photo were taken back far enough to see to the ground. Root stocks are propagated by making a stool bed.........coppicing. Top half looks like a coppiced tree that was allowed to keep going.
