I'm anything but a union guy, matter of fact I believe unions should be illegal or at least as they are now.

However the UAW have a legit beef and it is their own fault. The Nobama bailout of the big three. They elected Nobama and in the bailout the administration forced the unions to make huge concessions while placing no future limits on the company. Namely no COLA on wage increases linked to inflation. Which at the time was only 2%. So the UAW wages were more or less locked in and losing strength at only 2%per. Meanwhile, corporate wages are tied to inflation and those wages have increased with our recent inflationary climate. The UAW are taking it in the pocket due to inflation.

But this is all corrupt command economy results.

The only one that needs to slow do around here mister liberal is you. You and your union buddies are killing this country. But like a pig at the trough all you can see is the corn in front of your greedy little snout. And I know you don't support the liberals only your union dues go to help elect them. And why don't you for a change answer the question instead of side stepping it like you always do. Were the dues you paid used to help elect democrats? Legally of course. Did your union at every turn support the liberal agenda? Please twist away.

Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

Yet their union dues go to the politicians that time and time again, throttle the economy, hamstring, via the regulatory process, ancillary industries tied TO their very industry, promote fiscal.policies that weaken the buying power of their wages, yet they keep supporting them.
Cause union good, lol

The blame lies not just with the unions. Corporate is in the game as well. The demonrat party long ago got in on the rino/wall street game. They done played both sides against the middle and us folks stuck in the middle are getting screwed royally.

I say let it all collapse. The sooner it burns to the ground the sooner we can get to rebuilding it back on the original foundation.

SO,,Ill ask this question AGAIN,,like I do in all these union bashing threads,,but I never get an answer. Why don't the auto companies let the workers go out on strike,,then just replace them with non union workers,,at maybe half the wages.Like you said,,how hard is it to put wheels on a car.Can you answer Guss??

Who is stopping them from going on strike? If the auto workers are keeping the doors open, all they have to do is walk out. Teach the company a lesson. If I was to guess, they get paid substantially better than most other folks in the area and they don’t want to lose their high paying jobs. If that’s the case, they are on the higher end of income for blue collar people and are still complaining about not making more money.

Hahahaaaa So,,if a worker is making $35 an hour,,shes making $ 12,670 an hour. And every one wonders why these outfits have no money? WOW

Big deal. The best thing about living in America is you can start your own business. People think differently when it's their own money being risked vs someone elses. Besides, 35 an hour is to much for non skill if you ask me.

Technically, you are correct.
BUT, they obviously have ways around it.

So carry on with whatever little lies you have to tell yourself.

Wouldn't you know it. Lol

Just ordered a new buggy 3 weeks ago now this. The production was a nightmare before the strike now it will be a total disaster for prices and supply.
Oh well, it is what is.
