I do pay rent to the state, county, town and school board. My only other option is a higher rent to a landlord or theft of my property by the state, county, city, and school board. not much option there. Paying taxes vs paying a union is apples to fishing poles.
Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

Happy got you BC but did you start that ranch or inherit it and take care of them young men . But make one thing clear your ranch doesn’t work like these huge companies if it did you would be broke and that’s fact . Inherit? I wish. Earned every penny. Bought every acre.

Paying taxes vs paying a union is apples to fishing poles. Yes but most of my rambling are trying to make a point we fight amongst ourselves over petty bs like how we make a living while the government steals our money and distributes it to the ones of there choosing. Property taxes are a sham and if people would have to get paid in cash then walked to each table and pay the pay roll taxes they would scream, then repeat at the gas station, grocery store etc pay everything individually might wake some people up .

Unions protect the lazy/ workers
That's not true. Some do, some don't. They're not all the same.

You can train monkeys to do what the auto do on the line! It's not a skill trade. Seems obvious you have never sootd on your feet on concrete for 16 hrs a day or woke up becuse your hands are cramping so bad you can't sleep from the repidatave movements. Gushes you would rather the US be like China and work people so much with so loe lw pay they put suicide nets on the factories like the apla plant in China to keep people for comiting suicide. I have to admit I put in for Ford in Louisville. When they made me an offer I turned it down. Pay was two low and they hire people as a temp. They have people working as a temp for over 5 years. I would have to be pretty desperate to have taken that job at Ford. Maybe if it's a young kid just starting out or someone with a poor low paying crap job may be interested. They have muti stage pay systems the legacy employees do make great money but most are at or near retirement. The rest are Below that many far Below. But hay you read an artical that says different so you got to be right. It's not like your 2 closest neighbors just retirement from Ford and you have a few other friends that work there currently or you got an offer of employment and turnd it down becuse the offer was so poor. Guess I'm crazy turning down such a wonderful job that a monkey can do. Some people on hear sure have a way of showing their lack of experience and ability to talk out their butt about things they have no experience with.

I wish everyone could own their own business and have to make payroll plus everything else that goes with it. Then listen to employees demand a certain wage or we will go on strike and shut you down. Rather than hold companies hostage if your such an outstanding employee get a different job. Pay should be based on merit and demand, nothing else. If everyone did where would the employees come from . For you and BC also you started your own business, ranch and that is great and I’ll tip my hat to you but these huge companies are not ran like a small business. They don’t care because they didn’t start that business from ground zero. It is different to walk in with an MBA and become CEO but it’s another job to them because it’s not their company to begin with unlike a guy like Musk. You guys eat your mistakes that’s the difference. Bc the Tranny stuff at AB still hasn’t been eaten by the managers that caused the problem they just blame and deflect and this causes plenty of resentment with employees especially when you are lied to on a daily basis.

Union workers own the jobs not the employer. The employer might create them but the workers own them.

Hits a cord with this union employee that has had $19,300 in taxes taken from his check so far this year. The good thing is my union job has given me the security and income to pay cash for my farm and continue building my farm business.

Don't blaim the union for that. Or was one like Ford. Talked up like the greatest job ever but severely lacking when you looked at the details in the offer? No two women are the same and neither are jobs or unions. Thay all travel their good and bad.
