If you aren't a Vet get your Dad's or Gpa's DD214 and join your local Legion Post. Ain't no better way to spend time then sittin talkin with a Vet. I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

RM trapper trapper R Joined: Apr 2017 Posts: 2,569 TN/OH	I'm a white man that was raised by great parents and only graduated high school, and I am married to a black woman that was valedictorian and a college degree, she did this all while being raised by a single mother that was a drug addict, so I don't have much sympathy for anyone that uses their circumstances as an excuse. If you want something out of life you gotta work for it. Race has nothing to do with it. I will add that I own my own business and make more than my wife. Education can be overrated

warrior OP trapper Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 27,543 Georgia	I wouldn't say education is over rated but what is considered an education is. A diploma in many ways has become meaningless. An education whether it be acquired skills, esoteric knowledge or just the old fashioned school of hard knocks has value. Somewhere along the way we replaced a proper education with a piece of paper.
