My lady friend loves it so when we have a trip into the city it makes her day to stop by one. The salmon, pork ribs, fresh salsa is way better than average.

Aldi badly beats Kroger and Walmart on quality and price. We had security accounts with Aldi for years. The generic products they sold came in with the names of all the same major companies on their attached packing slips, such as Dole and Tyson, that their competitors sell as name brands.
About a month ago, they opened up a little bit closer Aldi, to us, in Urbana, Ohio. We are very glad they did.
I really like their certified angus, sirloins end cuts, which cost $5.99 to $6.99 a pound here. They have excellent flavor when done on the grill.
Their seafood is very good too. We just had mussels from Aldi for supper tonight.
Their ginger beer, which is nonalcoholic, is excellent. Their wine and hard cider is very good and incredible for the price. They have won international competitions with their wine.

I frequently purchase Atlantic salmon there. Also sandwich meat. Rarely chicken, pork, or beef. Usually buy a few turkey on sale at Thanksgiving. Wife and I have been making a point of buying and grilling a slab of Atlantic Salmon every week. I grill it either on a cedar plank or right on the grill with a few chunks of Hickory to add smoke. Salmon, fried homegrown potatoes, and a couple cold brews makes for good livin'. We honestly do most of our shopping at Aldis. Recently discovered their packaged, thin-sliced Genoa Salami. Great stuff and just as good as from a high-priced deli. Moosetrot
