USMC47 🦫 OP trapper Joined: Feb 2009 Montana	I’m putting a pellet stove in a log home. Anyone know the best way to install the pipe through the wall? Cutting a hole isn’t a problem, just curious if there should be some sort of a liner or special sealant after the pipe is installed. The deadliest weapon in the world is a Marine and his rifle. www.derricks-nm.com

EdP trapper E Joined: Mar 2012 meadowview, Virginia	The piece of hardware used to run a stove pipe through a wall is called a "stove pipe thimble." Google that and you will find your answer. I made my own for a hunting cabin I had but the commercial ones are more attractive and perhaps no more expensive.
