I’m thinking of a late season elk hunt in Colorado. I’m looking for a good reputable outfitter. Does anyone have any experience or contacts.

Are you talking the 4th rifle season? or one of the late season cow hunts?

Flat Tops Adventures, on Bowsite. Look up his reviews, they are good.

Better check first, winter kill , shortened seasons, and lower tags the mountains , Late season will be mostly on private lands.

Exactly, most hunters don't know that here in the Northwest Colorado 2022-2023 winter kill zone we lost 2/3 of our Elk population to deep snow that lasted until the beginning of May. I've seen five elk all summer and early fall where I used to see hundreds or even thousands.

All of my friends from MN were denied elk licenses for this year for that very reason. They have been hunting CO for 30 years or so in a row.

Thanks for all of the replies. Would Wyoming or Montana be a better choice? Actually I was thinking a third season rifle hunt.

Winterkill was not widespread in Colorado and they have OTC licenses, you'll have to draw elsewhere.
Wyoming is going to regions for general tags and a big price increase on Special draw tags, odds might get crazy next year or 2 for NR Wyoming elk.
Cow tags might have decent odds and reduced price tags are not expensive.

You can buy a PP now for Wyoming.

Northwest Colorado has very few elk left after last year's record setting winter kill. The rest of the state should be about normal, Southwest Wyoming was hit just as hard. I drove from Baggs WY. to Jackson in May, as I do every year, and where I normally see hundreds or possibly a thousand Antelope, we saw four.
