last 3 days, sandhill cranes have been heading south mile high, today hawks migrating all morning saw 5 groups of at least 100-200 birds, cool to see, 3 weeks ago woodcocks [the bird] were migrating through the area, our season doesn't even open until oct 1st. anyone else seeing this. we had 35 degrees here this morning, tree color is 3 weeks early.

Corn fields are coming out left and right here-some as early as 10 days ago. I dont think ive ever seen it this early. Beans arent ready yet. Would guess some poor yields this year.

I haven't noticed anything totally out of sync here. No frost yet here so river bottoms still have green leaf's yet. Local geese that are here year around seem on a normal routine and haven't seen any northern birds moving through us yet.

I have seen several robins down here and this is way too early, maybe they stayed but i wouldnt know why. Greater Canada geese are staying year round and raising clutches. Mallards have been staying for
past 15 years.

It's been so dry here much of corn is being cut for silage.

why do you guys think that some animals have quit migrating?

I saw a big cloud of blackbirds this morning getting ready to hit the road. Headed in the direction of Cozumel I'm certain.

I think the blackbirds flocking is later than usual around here, also I havent seen many of the big Black and Yellow fall spiders yet. While up north Bear hunting last week the trees were just starting to turn. Still a few Hummingbirds around.

39 degrees here yesterday morning Roy. Leaves are starting to change a bit early. No frost but some really heavy dew.

Got a couple bucks on camera that have shed their velvet in the last couple days. They are early too.

it's so dry trees are losing their leaves. they turn color and in a couple day they are on the ground,

I'm thinking I'll be short on firewood this year.
