I've got a foxpro. Icotek and a primos. Usually grab the foxpro but all 3 have distinctly differing sounds. I will usually rotate callers if on ground I've called before

Sometimes I'll set up in a pasture or food plot with an e-caller but I usually get in the thick stuff with buckshot and some mouth calls. It's more fun that way and I think the coyotes are more comfortable in the woods rather than coming out in the open. I just try to have an idea where the coyotes will probably come from and set up with the wind in my favor. If the wind is wrong, I don't call.

I'm in Georgia and the TV shows where they call them from a mile away in the wide open doesn't apply to these parts.

I enjoy it but I don't hunt them as much as I used to. I find trapping more enjoyable.

Woods and tree lines next to woods.

I have a lucky duck revolt, really like it. My calling buddy has a fox pro shockwave. It’s a good call. But seems we do better with the Lucky Duck. So that is the one we use the most. It has lots of sounds and you can add more. The remote on the lucky duck does not light up. But after using it for a bit, it’s easy to run.

I’m really surprised no one has come out with a really good smart phone/Bluetooth speaker application for predator calling. I understand there are some lower quality sounds out there available for smart phone usage but maybe not the high quality sounds. The technology is there, I mean my daughter plays her music off her phone through a Bluetooth Bose wave speaker that sounds like you are at the concert. I haven’t heard any of the high dollar e callers sound near as crisp and clear as her set up. Or why can’t the high dollar e callers replicate the sound quality of those Bluetooth speakers?

It is there…they make Bluetooth predator callers and some very nice sounds can be purchased and played through your phone. I’ve looked at that option as well.

Id sell you one of my old foxpros but i wouldnt want someone to have to deal with the headache of their crap remotes. Every company has sounds that work so dont get caught up on that. If foxpro has finally improved their remotes id go with a cheapo foxpro. The old ones wont work in the cold, with gloves on, and you better have fairly close line of sight. Research which remote functions the best and go with that. Icotech has been ok for me as far as remote working but it’s not the loudest thing out there for when its a little windy.
